The need to support Latina candidates grows everyday, but the challenges faced by Latinas who decide to pursue elected office are formidable.  Members of Congress stressed the important role each of us plays in reaching out and making a difference whether a junior staffer on the Hill, a community organizer, a teacher, lawyer, parent, or elected official, we all must put forth the effort to make a difference.  Participants networked and discussed what each could do to expand the number of opportunities Latinas have to run for office and succeed.
