PODER PAC Fund was established as an independent expenditure arm of PODER PAC, which was created in 2008 to support Latina candidates running for Congress.  Latina candidates traditionally have struggled to gain the attention and support of the Democratic party and donors. PODER PAC was established to support pro-choice, democratic Latina candidates with a demonstrated record of service to the Latino community. Poder PAC provides candidates with endorsements, early money and connections to a national network, which are key to winning races. The Fund will enable us to raise additional funding to support our Latina candidates and help them win elections through research, message testing, social media, digital and traditional media, mail and knocking on doors.

Become a PODER PAC Supporter

We need supporters like you to help propel Latina pro-choice democratic candidates to run for Congress nationally. Your contribution will be used to help these candidates win. We’ll provide direct financial support, campaign advice and a connection to a National network.

Friend.  For our friends and allies who support our goal of electing more progressive Latinas to Congress, we urge you to make a minimum contribution of $20 a month.  Writing a large contribution check all at once is not feasible for many of us, but a monthly contribution allows PoderPAC to make donations at a critical time in a candidate's campaign.  Regular small dollar donations have helped win elections.

Member. $100 contribution and a pledge to donate at least $400 to one of our highlighted Latina Congressional candidates from around the country.

Leadership Council.  $1,000 contribution during each election cycle places you on the Leadership Council.

President's Council.  $5,000 contribution during each election cycle places you on the President's Council.
Federal candidates listed on this website are not soliciting funds that are impermissible under federal law; federal candidates are not asking for donations in excess of the federal limits or from corporations, labor organizations, or foreign nationals.
